Basically to get one trim piece off the whole forward interior needed to come out all so I could get to a few screws. Sidenote: Look at this alarm wiring! It’s tied into, locks, Windows, lights, individual sections of the ignition sequence, horns, ignition coils(seems excessive) and probably more considering all these wires.

Another fire extinguisher is looking prudent.

The folks at Clifford certainly went all in. At least the install looks reasonably neat, but good god that is a lot of basically irreplaceable wires to be splicing. If you ever have an electrical issue, at least you know where to look first I guess.

I'll keep you in my thoughts.

And this is how you sell someone a new harness.

I already have the ignition separated and the car runs now,(and replaced ignition switch) but it’s getting all my features to work(trunk releases, Windows, locks)

I’ve never seen such a perfect visual representation of the software I have to work on every day.

I t’s not worth the effort on a car worth less than $ 2k with 200,000 miles, body damage, body filler, And a peeling repaint job.

That’s what the junkyard is for. Just don’t let them pull it.

I have the parts car to do it, but it once was a 70k luxury car before CanB us so there are hundreds of connections, and none of them want to budge(also clips that will always break) . I’ve pulled the interior out of my old SC to remove the hvac and got to see all the connections, it’s not worth the effort in order to properly fix wires to feature that I don’t much care about and that will still work.

I understand the desire to properly fix problems but it is truly not worth the effort in this instance.

The font and plastics used on their parts corroborates your report.
